Up for sale is a legendary Dual 1229 vintage turntable in stunning condition, housed in its original dual-position console with the original wiring. A true audiophile classic and a powerhouse machine!
Condition: Fully working order. The unit has been thoroughly serviced: old, hardened grease was completely cleaned out and replaced with fresh lubrication for smooth, reliable mechanical operation.
Cartridge & Stylus: Equipped with a Shure DM-101 cartridge and a generic replacement stylus, ready to play your records.
Cosmetics & Details: In gorgeous cosmetic shape overall. The wooden plinth looks fantastic, and the tinted dust cover is in very good condition with only one minor flaw clearly visible in the detailed photo.
Voltage & Frequency Note: The unit retains its original multi-voltage wiring (110V/220V switchable). Please note: If you plan to use this turntable in a 60Hz region (such as the USA), you will need to swap the motor pulley (the 50Hz pulley part #218275 currently installed needs to be replaced with the 60Hz pulley part #218276 to ensure correct speed accuracy).
