The RC500 is a high-end looper, particularly well-suited for live performance and composition, with two independent tracks that can be mixed separately. It offers excellent 32-bit audio quality, up to 13 hours of total recording time, 99 memory locations, a stereo instrument input, an XLR microphone input with phantom power, as well as 57 rhythms with A/B variations and 16 drum kits. It also features loop effects such as Beat Repeat, Scatter, Shift, and Vinyl Flick, as well as reverse, MIDI, USB, and the ability to add footswitches or an expression pedal. Its main advantage over the RC-5 is the ability to control both tracks with the faders, which is much more practical for building a song (verse/chorus, bass/guitar, vocals/instrument, etc.).
