Eastman is highly valued by players with a slightly tighter budget. Despite the lower cost these instruments are always impeccably built by hand using nothing but high-quality materials.
For example, this Traditional series Eastman E20 OM has a solid Thermo Cured Adirondack spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides, making it easy to compete with the well-known American counterparts.
Thermo Cured means that the top is already dried in the factory, which gives it a more played sound that comes close to the sound of vintage. The combination of the Adirondack top and the Indian rosewood gives a stunningly rich and full sound to the guitar.
In addition, it has a very high quality finish with the herringbone trim, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, hand-carved scalloped X-bracing, and abalone 'snowflake' inlays. These high quality details ensure that Eastman comes close to its more expensive competitors.
