I'm selling my Moog Etherwave Standard theremin. I bought it new from a music shop in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, around 2003-2004. It comes with all its original accessories, including a DVD, tuning tool, user manual, and two power supplies.The original box is also included, but don't get too excited - it's just a slightly battered plain cardboard box. I think the UK distributor hadn't figured out how to package them nicely at that point. :DThere are a couple of small marks in the varnish on the top. They were there when I bought it. As you can see in the pictures, they are not obvious - you can see them when the light reflects off at certain angles, and the rest of the time they're pretty much invisible. Otherwise the instrument is in pretty much perfect condition, and it plays beautifully.This model was discontinued around 2022, and Moog no longer make any pro-level analogue theremins. If you want one, your only option is to buy secondhand.I love it, I've recorded with it a lot, and I'll be sad to see it go. But I'm not using it much any more, and I'm downsizing my studio, so it's time for it to find a new home.
