VINTAGE 1960s King 2B Liberty Straight Tenor Trombone. It is one of the most iconic small-bore horns in jazz history, renowned for its association with the “golden age” of American jazz and big band music. It has a 0.481”/491” dual-bore and a 7 3/8” yellow-brass bell. It is a go-to and sought-after horn for advanced/professional musicians seeking that classic jazz sound. According to the Conn-Selmer website, the serial number dates the age of this horn to around the early/mid-1960s. It’s in good used condition, with a minor dent visible on the inside bell and some dents on the outside bell, a minor dent on the outer slide, scratches, worn-off plating due to age, and some signs of use around various areas of the horn, all visible in the photos above. None of the imperfections mentioned affects the playability and function of the instrument. It comes with a case *NOT* the original. It’s guaranteed to be carefully packaged and shipped in good playing condition.
