This Gibson Super 400 Cutaway version was made in the USA in 1950. While it shows some light play wear, given its age the guitar remains in remarkable condition. The original finish is vibrant and shiny with only light finish checking. It plays extremely well and the sound is exceptional. This guitar is mostly original although the bridge appears to be changed. The pickguard is also changed although what we believe to be the original guard is included, though it was modified for a dearmond pickup mount. While the dearmond is now gone, there is a filled screw hole on the bass side of the fretboard extension where it was previously mounted. The tuners and tailpiece are original. This guitar has been pro-setup in our store, and comes with the original case and hang tag.
