This Fender Champion Lap Steel was made in the USA in 1953. This one is a great player grade example of one of these early 1950's Lap Steels. The pickup and pots and knobs on this one has been replaced with Duncan Antiquity pickup. The tuners are original but that plastic tuner buttons tips have been replaced. There is some typical cosmetic wear on the blond MOTS (Mother of Toilet Seat) finish such as knicks and dings but overall the lapsteel is in very good overall condition. Comes as pictured with the original soft shell case.,
