Up for sale is a very good/excellent Fender Japan '62 Reissue Telecaster Custom (Model TL62B) in a timeless 3-Tone Sunburst finish. This guitar features the iconic white double-binding outlining the front and back of a premium Alder body.
This specific instrument features the serial number S042734 and the "Crafted in Japan" text on the heel, dating it precisely to the 2006-2008 era.
Factory Specifications:
• Body Wood: Double-bound premium Alder
• Neck Profile: Slim-to-medium Oval "C" shape (feels incredibly fast and comfortable)
• Fretboard Wood: High-grade, dark Indian Rosewood "Slab Board" (flat joint construction true to early 1962 specs)
• Fretboard Radius: Vintage-accurate 7.25" radius
• Frets: 21 Vintage-style small frets (narrow and low profile with very little wear)
• Bridge: Factory-original 6-saddle vintage-style bridge for precise intonation tuning 100%
• Untouched Factory Electronics:
This guitar was built as part of a premium domestic Japanese market run, featuring factory-installed cloth-wired pickups. The control cavity is completely untouched with original factory solder points, original metric electronics, and vintage-style cloth-covered leads. It delivers an authentic vintage Telecaster bite and chime.
• Both the neck heel and neck pocket feature matching factory stamps (TL62B and TL-62 A), confirming the wood is entirely original and paired correctly from day one
