New for 2024, Fender Custom Shop presents the 1963 Telecaster Relic. A beautifully handcrafted reproduction of the Telecaster from Fender's golden age, this guitar perfectly captures the characteristics of that era.
The two-piece select alder body is artfully aged in Relic Aged Olympic White, Fiesta Red, and Lake Placid Blue finishes and is paired with a rift-sawn maple neck featuring an oval '60s-style "C" shape and a rosewood fingerboard. With the iconic midrange and bite of the hand-wound Custom Shop Original Blackguard bridge pickup, and the crystal-clear sound of the hand-wound Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup, this guitar delivers classic Telecaster tone with amazing versatility.
It featureS a 9.5" radius, 21 narrow frets (6105), Modern Tele wiring with Greasebucket tone circuit, 3-way pickup selector, 3-ply mint green pickguard, '58-'63 Tele bridge with steel saddles, vintage-style tuners, bone nut, and also includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
