Key Characteristics

"Hot-Rodded" 800: Often considered a hybrid between the JCM800 and modern high-gainers, using diode clipping to achieve higher gain levels, which can be dialed back for a more traditional JCM800 sound.

Gain Sensitivity: The MkIII features a "Gain Sensitivity" knob, allowing players to adjust how hard the diode clipping circuit is pushed.

Production Date: The MKIII series (1990–1992) was replaced by the SL-X model in 1993
