The Merging Technologies HORUS audio interface combines excellent converters and world-class microphone preamplifiers in an elegant 2U system from Swiss manufacturer Merging Technologies.
This device uses 4 AAS expansion cards (8 mic/line inputs and 8 outputs) and 2 ADS cards (8 mic/line inputs and 8 direct outputs). This gives a total of 48 microphone/line inputs, 32 controllable outputs, and 16 direct outputs. An additional power supply has been added to the device for stable operation.
In addition to high-quality microphone preamplifiers, the device has a MADI card (64 inputs/64 outputs) and 24 AES/EBU input/output channels.
HORUS is mounted in a high-quality 6U SKB case for easy transport. In addition to the main interface and NEUTRIK patch panels, the case is equipped with a CISCO PoE SG-350 network switch for connecting additional devices via the RAVENNA network.
In summary, it can be said that a large recording studio is contained in a single case!
