Professional sitar in the style of Vilayat Khan, custom-made in Varanasi in 2013.
Crafted by Tarak (son of Nitai), picked up and adjusted on site.
It offers excellent sustain and sympathetic response and has been my main sitar for many years.
The neck shows signs of wear after more than 10 years of playing. It has been part of many recordings, concerts, and carries great vibes within.
I’m including the hard case (the combination lock is broken). There are many audio and video recordings available.
