Classic bass hardware in the form of a 3-point bridge and lightweight hipshot tuners complete the Gibson Thunderbird E-Bass from the Gibson Modern Collection.

Like its role model from the late sixties, the non-reverse Thunderbird Ebony also comes in a classic set-neck design with a long 34" scale length (864 mm), which promises a powerful sound with a long Sustain. For the glued neck and body, Gibson uses mahogany, while the 22-fret fretboard is made of rosewood. The "rounded" profile, which is not too thick, also promises the best playing characteristics for comfortable grooving.
