This splendid <strong>COLLINGS OM2H Custom #32397</strong> is an Orchestra Model style folk guitar, equipped with an impressive solid lutherie (roasted Sitka Spruce top, Wenge back/sides, Ebony fingerboard), with custom "3/4" neck" options (width of the neck at the first fret 4.45 cm), Dalmatian pickguard, and satin nitrocellulose finish for the neck.
The market is flooded with OM models, but Collings crushes most of its competitors with an acoustic quality and a quite exceptional realization.
Originating from East Africa (Cameroon, Congo), Wenge offers more than a superb grain and a pretty chocolate color. The best luthiers compare it to Brazilian Rosewood.
