Telefunken V672 - Universal Amplifier Rack

The V672 is a universal amplifier module that was developed by Telefunken in the late 1960s. Because of its unique input stage it can be used for a broad range of applications, but what's most important: it sounds very good!

This rack is a custom build to make use of all the functions the V672 offers. High quality materials and components have been used throughout: custom aluminium/steel housing, Grayhill and C&K switches, Neutrik connectors, Elma knobs, Sommer cable, etc.
The result is a compact and highly flexible 1U stereo unit that can be used as:
- Mic preamp
- Line amp
- Summing mixer (16 channels)
- Signal splitter (3 outputs per channel)
- DI box

The price includes two matched, completely revised and calibrated vintage Telefunken V672/2 modules (the one with toroidal Haufe transformers). I can also offer the very first version V672 with square Telefunken transformers upon request (see last picture). Notice that these are the only genuine versions made by Telefunken, most vendors are trying to sell V672a or V672D modules, which are newer and actually made by ANT!
