The Switchblade+ is a very practical channel selector rather than a conventional effects pedal: it allows you to route the signal to output A, output B, or both simultaneously, making it ideal for switching between two amplifiers, two pedalboards or two effects chains. It features two footswitches, A/B and A+B, as well as a Tuner output wired directly to the input, which can be used continuously for a tuner or another effect. Its audio path is completely passive, so it adds virtually no coloration to the signal, and the pedal can even operate without power; the LEDs, however, require a 9V battery or 9V/9.6V power supply. Introduced in 2011, it is housed in a rugged metal enclosure and measures approximately 114 × 70 × 53 mm. An excellent little utility pedal for simply managing multiple amplifiers or setups, with the added benefit of being able to use outputs A and B simultaneously.
