Up for sale is this incredible looking Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Quilt 2014. This Les Paul is an absolute masterpiece with the quilted maple hand-selected and book-matched expertly at Gibson’s Nashville plant. The employee's signature is on the back control cavity (Dan Williams.) It's one of the nicest examples these rare 120th anniversary models that we’ve come across. Most seem to have been sent to Japan for some reason. It has a solid and single-cut mahogany body, made of two pieces of grade A mahogany, which ensures the strong and fat tone Gibsons are renowned for. It has a comfortable profile neck, slightly thinner than a ’59 with locking Grover tuners and is a great weight at 4kg. I've tried to catch the top on it as best I can but it really is amazing and is what initially drew us to this guitar. It's in superb condition throughout, just light overall playwear with some soft scuffs on the back. Aftermarket strap pins were dropped in and a clear pickguard has been fitted so you can catch all of this spectacular top. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no visible fret wear. It comes complete with the original fitted tan hardcase and all case candy. A really special 2014 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
