An exceptional violin by Luthier Georgi Nikolov made in Cremona winning 3rd place for Tone at the PRIMO CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE DI LUTERIA "GIOVANNI BATTISTA GUADAGNINI"
Inspired by the Viotti Stradivarius a fine top of seasoned Italian Spruce of two slabs exceptionally carved 'f' holes and lovely purffling across the top and back.
The back is a single slab of maple highly figured and seasoned. Matching sides neck and delicately carved scroll.
The violin exhibits a fine mature tone indicative of the Italian Masterworks of Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri 'del Gesú', which makes it an excellent piece for any collector or player looking to obtain something in the realm of a fine Italian Masterpiece without the exorbitantly unaffordable price of a 17th or 18th century piece.
Overall tone is deep rich and resonant suitable for any orchestral/symphony musician, chamber musician and soloist.
