Since Gibson ceased production of the ES-175 at its Memphis division around 2019, 2017 models are highly sought after by collectors and jazz guitarists.

The 2017 Gibson ES-175 Figured is a premium, fully hollow-body archtop guitar built at the now-legendary Gibson Memphis factory.

This specific model stands out due to its use of striking figured maple for the top, back, and sides.

Key Specifications

Body:

3-ply laminated figured maple top, sides, and back.

Neck:

Solid mahogany with a comfortable 'Rounded C' profile and a rosewood fretboard featuring classic split-parallelogram inlays. The neck binding is 'rolled' for added playing comfort.

Pickups:

Equipped with two Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers. These deliver the warm, rich, vintage jazz and blues tones for which the ES-175 has been known since 1949.

Hardware:

An ABR-1 bridge on a rosewood base, fitted with titanium saddles for improved sustain and clarity. Additionally, the guitar features a 'Three Diamond' trapeze tailpiece and Grover Milk Bottle Rotomatic tuners.

Finish:

High-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer; originally available primarily in Vintage Sunburst and Antique Natural.
