Vintage 1980s EMG active Jazz Bass pickup set: SJ5 (short, neck position) and LJ5 (long, bridge position), both EMG-stamped on the back.
These came out of a 1983 Squier JV Jazz Bass (MIJ). They were installed in the bass when I bought it. I later sold the bass with a different set of pickups, so this set is now looking for a new home.
Note the old-style wiring — this is not the modern solderless system. Each pickup has a shielded output lead (braid = ground, core = signal) plus a red +9V wire. Soldering is required and EMG's current quick-connect harness will not plug straight in.
Included: both pickups, original EMG case, bag of mounting screws, plus the two brass shielding plates with foam from the pickup cavities.
Not included: pots, output jack, battery clip, springs.
