The Electrodyne 501 combines classic two-stage discrete-transistor circuitry with transformer-coupled input and output stages. Its active front-panel DI is designed to work directly with the microphone input transformer, providing additional tonal options when recording instruments.
The module offers up to 68 dB of gain, stepped gain adjustment, a continuously adjustable output control, 20 dB pad, switchable input impedance and a multi-stage clip indicator.
Only the specific module and accessories described above are included. A compatible 500 Series rack is required and is not included.
I have a second Electrodyne 501 listed separately and will consider a reasonable offer for the pair.
