The cymbal is in good overall condition. It has some signs of dirt and minor edge dents, but no cracks or keyholing. The edge dents are harmless and do not affect the cymbal's playability.
PAISTE SUPER is a highly regarded vintage cymbal series manufactured in Switzerland between 1971 and 1974. It was made from Paiste's proprietary CuSn8 bronze, better known as 2002 Bronze, and introduced as the successor to the Paiste Standard series. These cymbals are now quite rare and sought after on the vintage market.
The "Ride 20" marking was added by the previous owner. Paiste SUPER cymbals in sizes from 12" to 22" were not originally designated as Crash or Ride models. Instead, they were marked only as "MEDIUM", referring to their weight. Due to their relatively light weight, the 20" SUPER MEDIUM was traditionally used as a crash/ride cymbal.
