The Spark is the boost that ended up on a lot of boards because it does more than lift volume. Up to 26dB on tap from the Level control, a Gain knob that takes you from a touch of compression through to genuine crunch, and an active Bass and Treble EQ that cuts as well as boosts.

The three-way toggle is what sets it apart from single-knob boosters. Clean lifts the whole signal evenly, Fat thickens the low end and suits single coils in front of a driven amp, Mid pushes the middle forward for solos and does a passable Tube Screamer impression with the bass rolled back.

True bypass. Runs on 9V DC centre-negative at 40mA, or a 9V battery via the coin-slot door on the base. Full-size enclosure, top-mounted power inlet, side jacks.

Tested and fully functional. Switching, LED and all four controls behave as they should.

Condition: no chips, no dents, no marks on the base. Graphics and knob pointers crisp.
