DW Collectors Series Cast 3mm Aluminum Snare 14" x 5" 2006

For sale: DW Collector’s Series Aluminum Snare. This is not your standard thin-shelled model, but a heavy-duty 3 mm thick cast shell.

Works brilliantly in the studio, performing great at both high and low tunings.

Great "player’s grade" snare. The aluminum shell has some typical patina/discoloration, but it is mechanically 100% functional.

Specs and condition:

• Condition: Fair (due to cosmetic oxidation)

• January 16, 2006 (stamped inside the shell).

• Shell: 3 mm cast aluminum.

• Hoops: Die-cast.

• The shell has natural patina/tarnish typical for aluminum, and the hoops show signs of use.

• Note: One tension rod is missing from the resonant side (easy and inexpensive to replace); the threads are in good condition.
