Faders has been a PRS Dealer since 2007.The S2 McCarty 594 Thinline is an all-mahogany, thin-body guitar with a powerful voice. Whether you are looking for authentic humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds, the S2 McCarty 594 Thinline can seamlessly master both sonic territories thanks to its Maryland, USA-made 58/15 LT pickups and dual volume and push/pull tone controls. The S2 McCarty 594 Thinline is addictive to play, thanks in part to its all-mahogany body, versatile control layout, and bound 22-fret Pattern Thin neck. The distinctive, powerful voice is backed by modern construction, so it plays in tune, stays in tune, and is intonated the entire length of the neck. A zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners anchor this guitar and stay true to the promise of the McCarty family.Designed to capture the heart of the McCarty family of instruments and stay true to the S2 Series spirit, the S2 McCarty 594 Thinline stands on its own as a gig-ready workhorse for the player who wants to cover a lot of musical ground. After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickup and electronics for 2024 (and beyond). PRS is proud to bring this added value to what has become a fully integrated part of PRS's manufacturing line and product offering. PRS has also updated their Vintage-Style tuners to include a new "Wing" button. While, aesthetically, these new buttons are designed to echo the 12th fret bird wingspan design, they were first and foremost designed for tonal reasons. Because these buttons are lighter weight than their metal predecessors, they are subtracting less energy from the vibrating strings, thus helping the guitar ring longer and at a more musical note. The removal of the tuner's locking feature on non-tremolo-equipped guitars further decreases their weight.SpecsBodyBody Construction: SolidbodyBody Wood: MahoganyTop Carve: Asymmetric BevelNeckNumber of Frets: 22Scale Length: 24.594"Neck Wood: MahoganyNeck Construction: ScarfedTruss Rod: PRS Double-ActingNeck Shape: Pattern ThinNeck Depth at the 1/2 Fret: 53/64"Neck Depth at the 12 1/2 Fret: 57/64"Neck Width at the Nut: 1 11/16"Neck Width at the Body: 2 1/4"Fretboard Wood: Rosewood with Faux Bone BindingFretboard Radius: 10"Fretboard Inlay: BirdsHeadstock Logo: Signature, DecalNeck/Body AssemblyNeck/Body Assembly Type: SetFinishFinish Type: High-Gloss NitroHardwareBridge: PRS Two-PieceTuners: Vintage-Style Non-Locking with Wing ButtonsHardware Type: NickelNut: PRSTruss Rod Cover: "S2 McCarty 594"ElectronicsTreble Pickup: 58/15 LTBass Pickup: 58/15 LTControls: Two Volume and Two Push/Pull Tone Controls with 3-Way Toggle Pickup SwitchAdditional InfoStrings: PRS Signature 10-46Tuning: Standard (6 String): E, A, D, G, B, ECase: Premium Gig Bag**Tiny Factory finish flaw as pictured on heel**For US Customers:Duty, brokerage, taxes, and any other import or customs fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
