This was a joint venture by Italian Viscount Organ co and USA Oberheim inc. circa 1997? The end product is easily one of the best "Hammond" single-manual portable organs ever made, and one of the classiest looking, with a wooden casing and white panels.With 61 full-size keys (organ action, which is make/break ie no velocity), and the split function works well (with a volume balance possible)....and the onboard FX/Leslie sim can also be discreet, per "lower/upper" manuals. 6 preset memory slots on upper manual + live drawbar usage ( note<> 9 drawbars!) plus 6 preset memory slots on lower manual...percussion effects are excellent...and good selection of vibrato or chorus/Leslie FX, plus various reverbs and even a delay/echo...and a strident overdrive...plus master bass/treble cut/boost... master tune ....and MIDI, plus various footswitch options and stereo outputs. KKGB do point out that half of the keys are slightly differently coloured to the other half; just where they "split" in "twin-manual" mode. We have absolutely no explanation for this....but it is what it is..Sounds like? Play video of a decent band using an OB3 on stage.....get the idea? History? Sourced from Nottingham in 2025, from a private domestic studio, its evident that the instrument has been well cared for. The fact that its always been cased, has ensured that the overall condition is really nice. There are a few micro dinks on the panel, a few tiny, tiny hairline scratches on 4 natural keys, and that is IT! All 61 keys, all switches/pots work flawlessly. Organ comes with a (copy) manual, and a correct a/c external wall wart PSu. Polyphony seems to 24-voice-ish...plenty enough!UK price is just £525. Sale is via HMRC VAT margin scheme.
