This high-quality, all-solid US-made instrument features a Sitka sprucetop and mahogany body boasts excellent tonewoods, whilst all its features are designed to be completely ergonomic and optimised for maximum playing comfort. At the heart of the guitar is its rich Vintage Sunburst finish in high-gloss lacquer, which, in addition to a professional pickup gives it true stage-ready quality. On top of that, the package includes a shock-resistant case, which guarantees safety at all times.Solid woodsThe solid Sitka spruce top produces a clear sound, highly prized in guitar-making, with radiant overtones, whilst the back and sides, crafted from solid mahogany – a wood used in numerous models worldwide – add defined mid-range tones with distinct warmth. The result is a combination of tonewoods whose sound has long been popular amongst acoustic enthusiasts and which perfectly supports every genre thanks to its balance. Gibson also demonstrates the highest level of craftsmanship through the hand-scalloped Xbracing, whose skilfully arranged strips promote improved vibration behaviour and, in combination with the voluminous soundbox of the Round Shoulder Dreadnought and the all-solid construction, produce an impressive volume of sound that effortlessly cuts through in any setting.Mahogany neck with slim-taper profileThe neck construction of the Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst, in particular, contributes significantly to its comfortable playability. The mahogany neck witha Slim-Taper profile is ergonomically shaped and sits superbly in the hand. Combined with the smooth rosewood fingerboard, the fretting hand glides smoothly across the entire surface, making rapid chord changes and fast runs significantly easier. Thanks to the shortened scale length of 628.7 mm, less effort is required when fretting, which effectively prevents premature fatigue. The hardware is also thoroughly impressive: whilst a compensated Graph Tech TUSQ bridge insert ensures a low string action and clean intonation, nickel-platedGrover Rotomatic tuners guarantee excellent tuning stability.L. R. Baggs HiFi DNA – Natural, dynamic, expressiveThe L. R. Baggs HiFi DNA authentically brings the natural character of the acoustic guitar to the stage. This high-quality pickup system impresses with detailed sound reproduction, dynamic response and a balanced, organic sound. From delicate fingerpicking to powerful strumming , the nuances of your playing are captured with precision. The instrument’s individual character is preserved, ensuring a natural playing experience. The HiFi DNA thus delivers a clear, lively and stage-ready acoustic sound for discerning guitarists.Vintage Sunburst FinishThe most striking visual feature of the Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst is undoubtedly its elegant Vintage Sunburst finish in high-gloss lacquer, which is characterised by its exciting colour gradient. Every shift in light reveals new nuances and shades, whilst the high-gloss lacquer provides a breathtaking sheen and lends the instrument a luxurious finish. The tortoise pickguard is another key element of the design. Not only does it protect the guitar’s surface when playing with a pick, but it also adds a touch of traditional Gibson charm. Its warm, earthy tones provide a tasteful contrast to the finish, striking a balance between sophistication and robustness.
