Firmware on the cards is upgraded to 3.00 so the converter connects to Pro Tools HD and HDX and appears as an Avid HD I/O. Light studio use. Selling because the room is moving to Dante. The sound is still magic.If you have outboard gear and need to record this into your DAW but don't want to spend thousands on high-end converters, this thing is what you need. They can still be connected if you don't have Pro Tools using Apogees Symphony cards or using their X Firewire cards and then use a FW to USB converter.
