Fender Custom Shop Pickups, Telecaster w. String Bender B-Bender

I'm selling this exquisite custom Telecaster with a Parsons-White type string bender with a short stroke, manufactured in 1987.

It's equipped with Fender Texas Special pickups (custom shop) from the 1990s. The bridge is also an original Fender. The alder body was crafted in 1987 by the legendary and much too early deceased luthier A. Kockerbeck + Schack. It has a very thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish in an original Fender DuPont color. The neck (not a Fender neck) is also nitrocellulose lacquered with the F* logo. The body with the string bender has been played for many years and was professionally refinished about 5 years ago. The neck, however, is like new with no wear. This guitar weighs approximately only 3.6 kg.

This system was produced in small numbers (double digits) by a luthier and installed for guitarists in German-speaking countries. At that time, there were no manufacturers of string benders in Europe until Rockinger and Fender (USA) became active in the early 1990s.

I'm now parting with one of my most trusted string-bender guitars. The guitar is flawless and plays beautifully.
