For sale is an extremely rare, premium boutique mini tube amplifier head: D. Kowalski Amplifiers "Dark Gene" (Green version). This compact beast is 100% hand-wired (true point-to-point) by David Kowalski in McAllen, Texas, USA.
Unlike the Red model, the Green version utilizes classic British JCM800 and Plexi topology to deliver that legendary, mid-forward crunch and searing lead tones. It runs in true Class-A operation and provides authentic, cranked-up British tube saturation at rich, bedroom-friendly volumes. The dynamic response is incredible—the Sensitivity control allows you to bring the mids forward or scoop them drastically.
Perfect for apartment practicing, home studios, or as a high-end recording tool via its Preamp output.
