Selling the all black Neptune S/N 74 I have in stock.
Awesome for tight clean tones and believe me its amazing for jazz archtops and rock and blues. Its crispy and really dynamic - really awesome for too many different styles.
The site description is this one but its not limited just to this type of tones: Imagine the fat and punchy tone of a British amp that shakes the earth viewed from the Pure Tone Amps’ kaleidoscope…. The amp that was used on many historic live appearances by many influential bands BUT more dynamic, richer in tone, more flexible with some Pure Tone Amps’ features and way more practical and handy like the rest of Pure Tone Amps to easily take with you in stages and studios.
The Neptune has two channels bridged for bright and normal tones that you can fine tune your tone via two gain controls. The Eq is really drastic and a mids switch adds way more tones to pick. The Pure character adds growl and richness shaking things even more. The Raw / Smooth switch defines the dynamic behaviour and how tight the frequency range is and the ENTASiS control defines the output level.
The Neptune uses 2XEL34 output and 4XECC83 preamp type valves.
