Originally designed to route 12 outboard FX in parallel. Other applications: 12 x 2:1 summer / merger, 12 x 1:2 splitter … Briefly used to integrate guitar pedals within a synthesizer setup by:
- externally summing Nord Stage output pairs pre-DI (see pictures), blending in a reverb pedal (pre-Nord Stage seamless program transition era …)
- routing a Moog Sub Phatty in a hardwired parallel loop with a chorus pedal for mono compatible stereo synth bass
