1937 Gibson L-00 14 fret model with the rich and balanced sound for which these small pre-war Gibsons are noted. It has a spruce top, mahogany back and sides. All original. It's a great player with low action.This guitar is light weight. Has a comfortable V-shaped neck with a 1.72" nut width. The finish is original. It is exceptionally warm and woody with outstanding projection. It is resonant with excellent attack. Excellent low action on a straight neck. Overview

The L-00 was a flattop produced by Gibson starting in the early '30s. Some of the earliest examples featured a white pickguard and a black finish, though a sunburst finish and tortoiseshell pickguard became the norm by the mid-'30s (the black version was phased out by 1938). The earliest examples also had a 12-fret clear of the body fingerboard.
