With this Vintage Jumbo, Santa Cruz has created a guitar that combines the best of both worlds: the warm, vintage tone of the beloved slope shoulder shape, but just a little bit bigger for extra volume and projection, a perfect balance between intimacy and power!

Richard Hoover and his team at Santa Cruz Guitars are renowned for their unparalleled craftsmanship and attention to detail, and this Vintage Jumbo is yet another testament to why the brand has established itself as one of the most respected boutique guitar makers in the world. The jumbo slope shoulder shape is a nod to classic Gibson designs from the 1930s and 1940s, but Santa Cruz has refined and optimized the shape with modern construction techniques and years of experience!

The combination of solid mahogany for the back and sides and Sitka spruce for the top provides a rich, balanced tone with warm bass and clear, articulate highs. The scalloped X-bracing gives the top the freedom to resonate to its full potential, while the slightly larger back and sides than a traditional slope shoulder provide more volume and projection without losing any of that characteristic warmth!

The mahogany neck’s C-profile sits comfortably in the hand and offers excellent playability, supported by an ebony fingerboard with beautiful mother of pearl Doppler dots. The ebony headstock overlay and the expert lacquer work that Santa Cruz consistently achieves complete the picture of an instrument that not only sounds fantastic, but also makes a visual impression. It comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
