The Guild D-20 is a classic, USA-made dreadnought acoustic guitar inspired by Guild’s iconic 1960s designs. Built entirely from solid mahogany—top, back, and sides—it delivers a warm, woody, and focused tone with strong midrange presence and smooth, controlled bass.

Unlike brighter spruce-topped dreadnoughts, the D-20 excels at blues, folk, roots, singer-songwriter, and fingerstyle, offering a dry, punchy response that records beautifully and sits naturally in a mix.

Its arched back construction increases projection and durability while enhancing tonal clarity, and the satin nitrocellulose finish allows the wood to resonate freely for a more open, vintage feel. The comfortable C-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard provides a traditional playing experience, ideal for both rhythm and lead work.

Finished with classic appointments—tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage rosette, open-gear tuners, and Guild’s historic headstock logo—the D-20 combines timeless aesthetics with authentic, old-school tone.

B-Stock

This guitar has never been sold into the market. There is a small area that has been refinished which may be noticeable to the trained eye, from where the top was repaired from a slight separation from the side. There is also a small dent on the bottom on the guitar as seen in the images. The guitar is functioning perfectly and has been repaired, setup and fret-dressed by one of the most respected luthiers in the southeast on the UK. It's a fantastic sounding guitar and a great deal for any player out there considering the condition. You will not be disappointed
