1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard V2 60th Anniversary finished in stunning Flame Orange Lemon Burst. Artist owned by legendary British rockers: The Darkness. This was the band's studio guitar for recording rhythm and some leads on their "Motorheart" album. You can see Dan Hawkins playing the guitar in the studio on The Darkness' official Facebook page. It is also partially in view in the band photo inside the studio taken for the mixonline interview about the record. This finish was unique for the Version 2 release of the 1960 Les Paul 60th Anniversary Reissue. This had a slightly thinner neck profile and a brighter burst finish than the 1959 Les Paul. The flame top burst is incredible on this guitar. This is one of several instruments I have available for sale from The Darkness.
