Kawai R-100 Drum Machine + ROM Expansion
Up for sale is a very nice example of the classic Kawai R-100 digital drum machine.
Originally released in the 1980s, the R-100 has a distinctive 12-bit sound and a character very different from the more obvious Roland and Linn machines of the era. It’s great for classic electronic drums, sampling, or simply adding some genuine vintage digital grit to a modern setup.
This particular unit has been upgraded with a modern replacement LCD, making it much easier to use than an original ageing display.
Even better, it has been fitted with a ROM expansion containing sounds from numerous classic drum machines. A rotary selector lets you instantly switch between the different ROM banks and kits. Loads of sounds and loads of fun in one vintage box.
Due to its age, the unit is sold as is, but we guarantee that it will be fully working upon arrival.
