The Hermine is a French distortion pedal, handcrafted in Brittany, directly inspired by the ProCo RAT, but with 13 RAT variations accessible via internal mini-switches. It ranges from a light crunch/overdrive to a very thick, almost fuzz-like distortion, with Volume, Gain, and Filter controls, plus a Warm/Hot switch: Warm reduces the gain and boosts the bass, while Hot restores the more classic and aggressive character of the RAT. The different versions allow you to obtain sounds such as Original Rat, Turbo Rat, You Dirty Rat, Fat Rat, Solo Rat, as well as several custom circuits.
