Ibanez AEB10E-DVS Artwood Series Acoustic Electric Bass in Dark Violin Sunburst High Gloss Finish
The AEB10E-DVS sits comfortably in the lap with its jumbo body and soft Florentine cutaway, delivering ergonomic balance that doesn't sacrifice upper-fret access. The mahogany construction yields deep, articulate lows ideal for fingerstyle and pick-driven playing alike, making this bass equally capable in studio and live settings.
Playability & Construction
The 32-inch scale and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard offer extended range with tight string spacing, while the mahogany neck and 43mm nut width ensure comfortable fretting hand positioning. A compensated Ivorex II saddle and nut paired with the rosewood bridge and black plastic bridge pins deliver precise intonation across the neck.
Tone & Electronics
The laminated spruce top and mahogany back/sides produce clarity in the low end without muddiness, anchored by X-bracing for structural integrity. A Fishman Sonicore pickup feeds into an Ibanez SST Shape Shifter preamp with onboard tuner, offering balanced output via both XLR and ¼-inch stereo connections powered by 9V battery.
