The 60s Thunderbird Bass Pickup Set is Mojo Pickups' interpretation of the original 1960s Thunderbird bass pickups, built using period correct materials and construction.
It is a dual pickup set constructed with Alnico 5 magnets and 42 AWG plain enamel wire. The pickups are designed to retain the characteristic response of vintage Thunderbird pickups while providing improved output balance between the neck and bridge positions.
The neck pickup measures approximately 7.9 kΩ and the bridge pickup approximately 9.0 kΩ. Both pickups are fitted with nickel plated nickel silver covers and vintage style braided hookup wire.
