Bought new from Thomann in 2021 for a studio project that was active for only a short time before closing. Since then, the guitar has been safely stored in its original Taylor Deluxe hardshell case, in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
It’s in mint condition, both visually and sonically — no scratches, dents, or fret wear, only a light layer of dust from storage.

The Taylor 814ce is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever built — perfectly balancing power, clarity, and comfort. Its Grand Auditorium body shape makes it incredibly versatile, suited equally for fingerstyle, strumming, or studio recording. The combination of solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides gives it a beautifully rich tonal spectrum: deep, clear lows, sparkling highs, and a natural warmth through the mids.

This model features Taylor’s revolutionary V-Class bracing, enhancing sustain, projection, and tuning stability, along with a thin 3.5-mil gloss finish that allows the wood to breathe and resonate freely. The rosewood armrest, maple binding, and green abalone rosette complete the elegant aesthetic, while the Expression System 2 pickup captures every nuance for live or studio use.
