Gibson 1960 Les Paul

It really doesn't get much better than this. A gorgeous example of a R0 Les Paul from Gibson's Custom Shop. Arguably the most iconic and sought after electric guitar of all time, the original Sunburst Les Paul from 1958-1960 has an iconic place in rock 'n' roll history. Wielded by the best of the best and responsible for some of the must legendary guitar tracks ever recorded, the burst has and continues to be an icon of electric guitar lore. Unfortunately for us mere mortals, the price of an original Burst (if you can find one) will cost the same amount as a family home.

Luckily however - Gibson's Custom Shop has been producing replica's of these legendary guitars for over 3 decades with a much more palatable purchase price. Our 1960 reissue is a total peach, sporting a stunning book matched flamey Maple top and a beautifully playable neck. We're big fans of the slightly brighter Sunburst finish and slimmer necks you find on the 1960 Reissue. The Custom Shop do a fantastic job making these guitars accurate to the real thing, including small touches like the double-ringed tuners you only find on the R0.

Our old R0 is in excellent condition, it's had a very easy 16 years, there's a couple of very minor marks here and there (pictured) but they are hardly worth mentioning. The I have replaced the knobs with original Gibson ones as the tone insert was missing from one. Freshly set up with D'Addario 10's.

Finally we fit a fresh set of D’Addario strings, so you’re ready to go straight out of the box!
