***ENGLISH BELOW***

ENGLISH:

For sale: 1976 Orange OR120 "Overdrive," made in London, UK.

It features the same circuit as the OR120 "Graphics" model but includes a master volume placed after the famous cathodyne phase inverter.

There is no extra gain stage; it is a true OR120, complete with the F.A.C. selector, the James tone stack (often mistakenly called "Baxandall"), and 120W of power driven by four EL34s.

It delivers the classic OR120 sound but offers greater control over the overdrive.

The master volume design is interesting: instead of all the action happening within the first quarter of the knob's travel, the volume increases during the final quarter, making the amp extremely versatile (suitable for home use, rehearsals, gigs, and studio work).

Combined with the low-pass filter (F.A.C.) and gain control, it is highly versatile—ranging from thick clean tones and cutting classic British sounds to fuzz tones with punchy low-mids. This unit is in exceptional condition and comes with its original Orange cover, which is also in excellent shape. - Original circuit; no modifications made. - All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with TAD and F+T components. - Power tubes are TADs with approximately 70% life remaining (tested on a tube tester). - The two 12AX7 preamp tubes are also TADs, with 70% and 80% life remaining. - Fully serviced and biased by Smokestack in Bordeaux.

Can be tested on an Orange 4x12 cabinet.
