About this listing
Vintage Neumann U87 P48 (Pre-Ai) condenser microphone in excellent working condition. Original transformer-equipped version from the final years of U87 production, featuring the classic U87 sound. All functions operate as intended, and the microphone remains in very clean cosmetic condition with only minor signs of age-related use. Includes the original Neumann case. The capsule head-basket still have the original wax covering that third screw, whichmeans the headbasket has never been opened in its lifetime, indicating the capsule is a 100% untouched, original Neumann specimen. An intact seal is highly prized by collectors and engineers.
