Excellent vintage MD421 HL. This one has been converted to typical low impedence output, it's essentially an MD421 N now.Internal diaphragm has been cleaned, so the "low end loss" problem is nothing to worry about. This is a meticulous service which requires pulling magnetic dust off the very thin membrane inside of the microphone's capsule. This brings the response of the microphone to what it should be, and most of this vintage mics are sold without this, operating far from peak sonic efficiency. The internal transformer has been removed, the hi pass filter has also been disabled. What you get is a full-frequency, full-time vintage dynamic killer. Sounds incredible on pretty much any source.Includes tuchel tail and custom made clip. Unfortunately this one is missing the front badge, but you can't hear the front badge on a record!
