Free shipping!This is an authentic 1983 Fender neck with an unlined rosewood fingerboard and all the original factory hardware. The neck is in excellent overall condition, in near-mint condition. There is a tiny (1/8” long ) shallow horizontal ding on the back of the neck. This neck looks completely new.This neck would be perfect for completing a vintage Fender Precision Bass fretless project, or for a player seeking the feel and character of an original early-1980s Fender fretless neck.I bought this maybe 20 years ago thinking I would learn fretless. I installed it on a Fender Jazz bass. But my fretless explorations ended shortly after I heard a recording of me playing fretless at a gig!
