Vox Ultrasonic 1967 - sunburst

1967 Vox Ultrasonic semi-acoustic guitar (serial no. 408265) in Sunburst finish, with original case. Originally built as a 12-string model (see the label on the back), it was professionally converted to a 6-string—likely at the factory itself (faint traces of the original 6 tuner holes are barely visible on the headstock when viewed against the light). The guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition and is structurally sound, with no breaks or repairs; it shows only minor signs of use and a couple of superficial surface scratches in the finish on the front of the body. It is fully functional and set up with .011–.048 gauge strings; the action is very low and can be adjusted to preference. The neck is straight, the ebony fretboard has been fully serviced/cleaned, and the frets have been replaced with Gibson-style medium-jumbo frets (the old frets are included). This work was performed perfectly by a professional; photos of the process are available. The truss rod works perfectly.

The tuners, tremolo, pickups, switches, and volume/tone potentiometers are all functional.

-The onboard effects work, though please note that the wah-wah needs servicing, as it produces an annoying background noise when used.

-The built-in tuner emits an F note.

-One of the three string trees is not original.

 The period strap is included, along with some gadgets seen in the photos.

The case is the original one with some signs of wear and tear on the outside while the inside is intact, everything still works without problems
