Neumann Z240 vintage matrix transformers for M/S encoding SM69 stereo microphone or signal processing, most likely made by Malotki.

For sale this set of 2 vintage Neumann Z240 matrix transformers. High end transformers from the golden age of Neumann professional audio production. These were sold by Neumann for building a M/S microphone signal encoder / decoder but modern users also employ them for other audio duties like master bus processing etc. Both are in very good condition and were successfully tested with line level signal. Imho they were never installed since delivered new in the 1970's. One transformer moves minimally in its μ-metal enclosure and on one tab I can see some wire folded underneath the Pertinax top plate and the rubber isolator (I do not consider this a fault or issue but I thought it was worth mentioning both details). Neumann intended these to be used "chassis mount" they have a mounting plate on the bottom. A spec sheet in German language is available for the buyer after the sale.
