The Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a touch-sensitive, low-gain overdrive pedal. It is the best-selling Mad Professor overdrive pedal of all time. The sheer dynamics of the Sweet Honey Overdrive make it a must-own. The level of distortion can be controlled by the attack of the pick and the strength of the pickup. Like a great tube amp, softer picking gives a cleaner sound while harder picking unleashes a big, harmonically rich overdrive. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal, as well as the overall EQ. Turning the Focus knob counterclockwise requires you to play harder to get distortion and the sound is mellow, great for jazz and blues. Turning the Focus knob clockwise gives a slight boost to the highs and more immediate distortion, great for classic rock.

Controls

VOLUME: Adjusts the output volume

DRIVE: Controls the amount of overdrive.

FOCUS: Controls saturation and adjusts overall equalization. Turning counterclockwise results in less distortion and a smooth effect, turning clockwise results in a slight increase in treble and more immediate distortion.
