This is a beautiful, custom-ordered Pork Pie USA Custom 4-piece shell pack, built in California and signed by Pork Pie founder Bill Detamore.

This is not one of Pork Pie’s imported or production-line kits. The USA Custom series is Pork Pie’s high-end, American-made line, with hand-finished American 8mm maple shells and custom finishes.

The large 24” kick combined with the 16” and 18” floors gives this kit a big, deep, powerful rock sound while the 12” rack tom keeps the setup extremely versatile.

The finish is absolutely killer in person — a distinctive textured/sparkle finish with chrome hardware that really stands out under stage lights.

Pork Pie describes the USA Custom series as hand-built at its Canoga Park, California factory, with Bill Detamore personally handling painting and bearing-edge work. 

CONDITION

The drums are approximately two years old and have been well cared for.

They show normal signs of light use from playing, including some head/play wear, but the shells and finish present extremely well. I do not see any significant shell damage, structural issues, or major chrome problems.

The photos are of the actual drums you will receive.
